Terms and Conditions

Our enclosures are handcrafted using premium materials including 18 mm plywood (walnut, white oak, or maple), 12.7 mm PVC foam board with HDPE or PVC facing, tempered glass, and anodized aluminum components.

Natural Variations and Imperfections

Wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, color, texture, and minor characteristics (such as small knots, mineral streaks, or color differences between pieces) are inherent and expected. These are not considered defects.

PVC foam board and HDPE/PVC components may contain minor surface blemishes, slight color variations, or texture differences inherent to the manufacturing process. Such variations are normal and do not qualify for return, exchange, or refund.

Tinted glass (gray or bronze) and anodized finishes (black, gold, or seasonal colors) may show slight variations in tone or finish. These are considered acceptable and are not defects.

Custom elements, including UV DTF printed portraits, are produced from images you provide. Minor variations in color, sharpness, or placement due to printing and application processes are normal.

All enclosures are shipped flat-packed (unassembled) for safe delivery.

• You are solely responsible for proper assembly according to the provided instructions.
• Use of threaded inserts, hardware, and tools must follow our guidelines. Incorrect assembly may damage product or components.
• If a component is damaged during assembly or handling, then replacement components can be reshipped at full cost to the consumer.
• We are not liable for damage, injury, or improper function resulting from assembly errors, use of incorrect tools, or modifications to the product.
• Enclosures are designed for indoor use only (unless expressly stated otherwise) with appropriate reptile lighting, heating, and substrate. Improper setup or use with incompatible equipment is at your own risk.

• Some orders ship via freight (LTL) carrier and are delivered curbside only (typically to the end of your driveway or nearest accessible point).
• Lift-gate service is generally included for freight shipments. The carrier is not responsible for bringing the package inside, upstairs, or providing setup.
• You must inspect the shipment upon delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 8 hours with photos.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect delivery address.
• Risk of loss transfers to you once the carrier delivers the product to the address you provided.

Limited Warranty

We warrant that our enclosures are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of delivery under normal use and proper assembly. This warranty covers structural defects only and does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse, improper assembly, or modification
• Variations in natural materials (wood grain, PVC blemishes, finish variations)
• Damage during shipping after delivery has been accepted
• Damage caused by animals, substrate, lighting, humidity, or cleaning products

Returns and Refunds

• Custom orders (including specific wood species, tinted glass on Augustus line, custom UV DTF portraits, or seasonal track colors) are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun.
• Refunds, if approved, will be issued to the original payment method minus any applicable restocking or shipping fees.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase or use of our products shall not exceed the purchase price of the specific product giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of animals, veterinary expenses, property damage, personal injury, lost profits, or inconvenience, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
• This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability (contract, tort, strict liability, etc.).
• You assume all risk associated with housing live reptiles or amphibians in our enclosures.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AR Terrariums LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of our products
• Your failure to follow assembly or care instructions
• Any injury to animals or persons resulting from the use of our enclosures
• Any custom modifications or third-party components you add

• For UV DTF portrait orders, you represent that you have the legal right to use and reproduce any images you upload. We are not responsible for copyright, trademark, or likeness claims related to customer-provided images.
• We reserve the right to refuse any custom order that we deem inappropriate or that violates third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kaufman County, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of your order will apply.
